Discovery har köpt TV-rättigheterna till norsk handboll.
Ett nytt avtal över två år har fastställts mellan Norges Handbollsförbund och Discovery. Det inkluderar alla hemmamatcher för landslagen, ett gäng cupmatcher samt 35 seriematcher från både herr- och damligan.
Matcherna kommer sändas i nystartade Eurosport Norge och det norska handbollsförbundet är nöjda med avtalet:
”We are satisfied with the contract with Discovery. They proofed, by founding a new sports station and buying the rights for the Olympics, the importance of sports for them. Furthermore they want to continue the development of the ”event handball match” and will be present at all matches. This will improve the product ”handball”.
