Montenegros förbundskapten Dragan Adzic lämnar uppdraget efter en svag insats i OS.
Dragan Adzic kommer framöver bara koncentrera sig på tränarjobbet i Budocnost. Det säger han i en intervju med Rukometnitrener:
”Six years and a few months ago, I led this team with pride and great satisfaction. Led by the president of the club and, together with a phenomenal girls and coaching staff, we managed to bring the national team of Montenegro to that of being participants in all nine competitions during this period. In addition to Spain, France and Norway unparalleled we are the only team to have participated in all nine competitions.
I’m sorry to Rio, I could not give more girls. The biggest responsibility is mine, I’d like the public to remember the beautiful moments of these girls, because they certainly deserve a lot of respect, and the club management, the Alliance, and the coaching staff..
All is set on a sound basis and is not set to persona Dragan Adzic. We have a lot of young good coaches, a lot of young players, this generation should have the freshness of the bench at the next European Championships.
I believe that most of the handball players will continue to play for Montenegro and that Montenegro will delight in this, perhaps the last competition for this generation.
