”We’re heartbroken to report that the Home Court family is in mourning, after recently losing one of our most beloved members, Fredrik Caesar, to illness. Fredrik exemplified all that was best in humanity, from his effervescent spirit to his sharp humor to his deep compassion.

When we started spending time with the New York City Team Handball Club, Fredrik opened his arms and made us feel incredibly welcomed. He stood for what NYCTH still stands for; if you look at our movie poster, there’s #22, right in the center, arms around his brothers.

Up until now, Home Court has been password-protected online due to potential distribution considerations. However, in light of Fredik’s loss, we’re now making the film freely available to all. We feel it should stand publicly as both a remembrance of Fredrik and a memento of what he loved.

The link is below. We’ll miss you, Fredrik”

Dokumentären är mycket sevärd och beskrivs som:

”In this exploration of the power of sports, foreigners from 5 continents find an unlikely family in New York City through an Olympic sport that few Americans know about: team handball. The squad seeks to defend its national title and cement its reputation as the ”world’s handball club,” a group of friends that speak a common language on and off the court.

A film by Ben Teitelbaum + Monica Alba”
